Get ready to wow all those little spooks that will be trolling the neighborhood!
Your little ghosts and goblins are going to love these freaky little Creepy Brownie Bites that are chock full of Halloween fun.
Making these Halloween marshmallow brownie bites isn’t difficult at all, but they do require some special tools, so plan on making a quick trip to the grocery store for the ingredients and the craft store for embellishments.
The first trick to making these fun little treats is to grab bottles of green and purple food spray. You should be able to find them in the cake decorating section of a craft store. All you’ve got to do is spray large marshmallows with a light coating of either spray to make them ghastly colors.
Make some of your marshmallows green, some purple, and leave some of them plain white.
The next little trick you need in your kitchen is an edible marker. Use it to draw some funky faces on your marshmallows.
I thought the green marshmallows were begging for a squiggly Frankenstein smile, the purple needed a sly vampiric grin, and a stitched up smirk looked about right for those white marshmallows, which were about to turn into skeletons.
Dot on two eyes, dip the tops of your purple and green marshmallows in melted chocolate (and chocolate sprinkles for those green marshmallows! Frankenstein needs some freaky hair, y’all!) then place a dollop of chocolate frosting on top of some Betty Crocker brownies baked in a mini muffin tin.
Gently press the marshmallows onto the brownie bites. Then sharpen your teeth, because … it’s going to be love at first bite!
