Savory fillings so tasty and tasteful — these crescent appetizers will be the hit party platter for sure!
So here’s the scene. You’ve been invited to a party and you have to come up with a crowd-pleasing appetizer to contribute. You’re bored to the bone with the staple cheese and cracker plate. And you’re seriously falling asleep into your bleh to the blah hummus dip.
We’ve all been there.
It hurts, doesn’t it?
Well, I have some pretty pimp news. And it goes something like this.
Savory. Stuffed. Crescent. Rolls. In. Your. Face.
If you need a moment to rest, take it.
Ya back? Okay!
SO YES, take some Pillsbury crescent rolls, stuff them with your favorite savory filling, and you’ll be a supe-ah-stah at your next get together.
I came up with four versions to share with you today, but I’d love to know your take on this EIGHTH WONDER OF THE WORLD.
1. Black beans with red onion, cheese and cilantro
Loverly.
2. Prosciutto, egg and basil
Delish, you guys.
3. Broccoli and Cheddar
Whaaaaat? Yum, that’s whaaaaat.
4. Muir Glen organic fire-roasted tomatoes with spicy sausage
Oh … oh yes I did. Spice and attitude.
Once prepped and cooked, start by assembling each roll.
I’m so hungry.
Like, I might need seconds.
Or thirds.
Or fourths.
Give them a roll….
Oh my goodness. My heart.
Group glamour shot!
Are you licking the screen yet?
There you have it! Savory stuffed crescent rolls. And um, even if you don’t have a party to attend, make a big batch of these for your family. Or heck, just for YOU.
You need these. I promise.
