Give up your favorite coffeehouse mocha to save some moolah? *gasp!*
Don’t panic! With this easy recipe for Mocha Latte, you can do it easily.
Forget about the beaucoup-bucks mocha you fell in love with at your favorite neighborhood coffee place. It’s just not budget friendly. But this one? You can make it for pennies at home in 5 minutes. Cool, or what?!
You only need 3 ingredients – strong hot coffee, hot chocolate mix and whole milk.
Of course, if you want to fancy it up a bit, you could add some whipped cream too. Or stir it with a candy cane (peppermint mocha latte!). But that’s up to you.
So, to start, add the hot chocolate mix to the strong, hot coffee.
Stir it up well. Be sure to really get in there and mix it around so that it’s really well combined.
Then heat up the milk on the stove. If you have one of those fancy little aerators for making foamed milk, use it. Otherwise, grab your smallest whisk and whisk the milk like crazy for a minute or so until it’s good and foamy. Then pour that foamed milk into the coffee.
Done.
Well, like I said, unless you want to get a little fancier. Go ahead — grab the whipped cream. Why not?
Now enjoy that mocha in your mouth and the moolah in your pocket!
