It’s hard to get my kids to eat much of anything nutritious, so I’m always trying to find creative ways to get them to eat their fruits and vegetables.
This Peanut Butter Yogurt Dip is a light and healthy way to munch on some fruit and veggies. I never would have thought that yogurt in a dip would actually be good. And not just plain yogurt; I chose strawberry yogurt to add to my peanut butter for added creaminess and a subtle boost of flavor.
Adding a flavored yogurt to peanut butter may sound strange but my kids (and husband) loved it. I can’t wait to try other flavors.
Another way to jazz it up this dip is to serve it in a hollowed out apple. Strawberries, bananas, graham crackers or even celery sticks can be used for dipping. When you’re done dipping, you can even eat the apple. No dishes and no wasting!
You can use regular peanut butter or the all-natural stuff; either way, it’s delicious. Just keep it in the fridge for easy access for yourself or your kids.
Whether it’s a midday snack or a healthy dessert, your kids will love this summertime snack.
