Ho ho ho!   Who wouldn’t go for one of these cute Santa Hat Marshmallow Snacks?!

‘Tis the season for all things Santa!  So why not continue the celebration of Mr. Clause and his classic red hat with these adorable little marshmallow snacks?!

These seriously could not be easier.  Just use an edible marker to draw on Santa’s eyes and mouth (or you could pipe on melted chocolate).  Then use frosting to add a fluffy beard and hair, top it with a strawberry, and you’re good to go!

If you have kids in the house, this would be a fun project to get them involved the kitchen.  Or you can just bring out the crafty kid in you and enjoy creating all of your mini Santas.  Either way it will be a jolly good time.

Here’s the how-to:

Remove stems and leaves from strawberries.

Begin by gathering your strawberries and cutting off the green parts.  These will soon make your Santa hats.

Draw faces on marshmallows with edible pen.

Use an edible marker (brilliant creation!) to draw eyes and a mouth on each marshmallow for Santa.

Add hair and beard with frosting.

Then use a piping bag to pipe some frosting onto the marshmallows to create a Santa beard, and some additional up on top for hair.

Place the strawberry on top and add a dab of frosting to the top.

Place the strawberries (upside-down) on top of the marshmallows to create the Santa hat.  Then top those with a wee bit of extra frosting to create the white ball on top of the hat.  Your cute and yummy Santa is now ready. What a fresh break from traditional cookies, too!

Happy Ho Ho Ho Holidays!

These were DELISH! My mother in law and the whole family made them on Christmas. It was such a fun activity, especially when we each got to draw our own faces. We used toothpicks and caramel sauce. Worked like a charm! Thanks!
